35. Capitalist Behavior vs. Statist Behavior

Capitalism encourages behavior based on:

Individualism.
Reason, Objectivity, Logic.
Rational Self-interest.
Rational Selfishness.
Self-responsibility & Self-reliance.
Being Responsible for one’s negative choices and actions, and psychological shortcomings.
Awareness. “Eager Intelligence” (per Dr. George Reisman).
Productivity.

Or any of the other numerous rational, good, and sane capitalist-oriented and free-market activities, applications, philosophies, and/or ideas associated with Capitalism.

Statism encourages behavior based on:

Collectivism. Mob Rule.
Mysticism, Subjectivity, the Irrational & Arbitrary.
Altruism. Self-sacrifice to others. Selflessness.
Irresponsibility & Dependency.
Blaming others for one’s negative choices and actions, and psychological shortcomings.
Avoidance. “Passive Stupidity” (per Dr. George Reisman).
Sloth.

Or any of the other numerous irrational, evil, and insane statist- or socialist-political activities, applications, philosophies and/or ideas associated with Statism.

This definitely includes Environmentalism, and the current Global Warming hysteria.
